This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how 8k9 ("8k9", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, stores, discloses, and protects the personal data of individuals ("you", "User", "Player") who access or use the 8k9 online gaming platform at 8k9.club (the "Platform").

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and its Implementing Rules, 8k9 processes personal data on the following legal bases:

• Contractual Necessity. Processing required to perform the contract represented by 8k9's Terms & Conditions — including account creation, game access, deposits, and withdrawals.
• Legal Obligation. Processing required by applicable Philippine law — including PAGCOR compliance requirements, AML obligations under RA 9160, age verification requirements, and tax reporting obligations.
• Legitimate Interests. Processing necessary for 8k9's legitimate interests, including Platform security, fraud prevention, and service improvement — provided such interests are not overridden by your fundamental rights and freedoms.
• Consent. Processing for marketing communications and non-essential cookies is carried out only on the basis of your freely given, specific, and informed consent. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing conducted prior to withdrawal.

8k9 does not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your data may be shared with the following categories of recipients only to the extent necessary for the purposes described in this Policy:

• Payment Processors. GCash (Mynt – Globe Fintech Innovations, Inc.), Maya (PayMaya Philippines, Inc.), BPI, BDO, Metrobank, and other payment providers receive the transaction data necessary to process your deposits and withdrawals.

8k9 uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Platform for the following purposes:

• Strictly Necessary Cookies. Essential for Platform operation — maintaining your login session, remembering your account preferences, and enabling core cashier functionality. These cookies cannot be disabled without affecting Platform functionality.
• Performance & Analytics Cookies. Used to understand how players navigate the Platform, identify pages with high error rates, and measure feature adoption — enabling 8k9 to improve the Platform experience. Data collected is aggregated and non-identifiable where possible.

8k9 implements technical and organizational security measures appropriate to the nature of the personal data processed and the risks involved in processing. These measures include:

To exercise any of the above rights, contact 8k9's Data Protection Officer via the channels listed in Section 15. 8k9 will respond to verified data subject requests within fifteen (15) working days of receipt, or within such other timeframe as required by applicable NPC issuances. In some cases, 8k9 may need to verify your identity before processing a request.

If you are not satisfied with 8k9's response to your data subject request, or if you believe that your data privacy rights have been violated, you have the right to file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC) at privacy.gov.ph.

The 8k9 Platform is strictly for persons who are twenty-one (21) years of age or older, as required by PAGCOR. 8k9 does not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under the age of 21.

If 8k9 determines that personal data has been collected from a person who does not meet the minimum age requirement, the relevant account will be immediately suspended, the personal data will be deleted or rendered inaccessible to the extent permitted by law (subject to mandatory regulatory retention obligations), and any funds in the account will be handled in accordance with applicable PAGCOR guidance.

Some of 8k9's technology partners, game providers, and infrastructure services operate in jurisdictions outside the Philippines. In such cases, personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the Philippines.

Where personal data is transferred outside the Philippines, 8k9 ensures that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in a manner consistent with the Data Privacy Act of 2012, including:

• Contractual data transfer clauses in agreements with overseas recipients, imposing data protection obligations equivalent to those required under Philippine law.
• Transferring only to jurisdictions that the NPC has recognized as providing adequate levels of data protection, where applicable.
• Implementing supplementary technical measures (such as encryption) where standard contractual safeguards are determined to be insufficient given the specific transfer context.

A list of countries to which 8k9 transfers personal data is available upon request from the Data Protection Officer.

8k9 may update or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in applicable law, regulatory guidance from the NPC or PAGCOR, or changes in 8k9's data processing activities. The date of the most recent revision will be displayed at the top of this document.

Where changes to this Policy are material — meaning they significantly affect your rights or the way 8k9 processes your personal data — 8k9 will provide notice by posting a prominent notification on the Platform or by contacting you via your registered email address or mobile number prior to the changes taking effect.

Your continued use of the 8k9 Platform following the effective date of an updated Privacy Policy constitutes your acknowledgment of the changes. If you do not agree with any updates to this Policy, you should cease using the Platform and may request account closure by contacting 8k9 customer support.
